Our agency has a referral for us for a little girl just over 3 years old - do we want them to send us the pictures and medical info........ YES!
This is probably one of the most difficult decisions you face when adopting. Whether or not you should say yes to a referral. The wait has been long, the information spotty, experts give you statistics and other adoptive parents tell you to go with your gut/intuition. Then you look at her little smile in the three pictures we received and wonder, "Do you want to be our daughter, are you ready for all of the change that will come from this?" Hopefully ........ YES!
