Leaving - Our train back to Warsaw

It was difficult to leave since we didn't know when we would be back and we couldn't explain to Maya were we were going.

Our train ride back to Warsaw was eventful. First, getting on the train I ended up losing my shoe under the train on the tracks. Luckily, there weren't too many people clamoring to get on and Matt was able to stop and reach my shoe easily. I had no other shoes on the trip, so that would have been an interesting experience.

Then at our stop they weren't selling tickets for our train. We were told to buy them on the train. It turns out that when you buy on the train you can't get a seat reservation. The ticket conductor tried to explain that our seats were taken later on, but we couldn't understand him. About 1.5 hours into our 6 hour train ride the occupants for our seat showed up. The train was packed and so we found a space in one of the tight hallways to hangout. We shared a pull down seat and tried to flatten ourselves against the wall everytime someone walked by to go to the restroom. It wasn't a horrible trip since it was just the two of us. But there is no way that will work with two kids. We'll have to come up with a better plan next time.

Once in Warsaw we decided to have dinner at a restaurant in the mall. Average place, but convenient. We had decided to stay at the airport that night since our flight left at 6:00am. The internet was crazy expensive so we weren't able to send out any of our new pictures.

Our flights were much less eventful than the train ride and we made it back pretty much on time. On our longer flight Matt said he missed Maya already. We watched some of our videos and hoped that we would be back sooner rather than later.
